York RA Member Meeting Minutes- 5 February 2026 @ York Hospital Social Club

- Alan welcomed 33 in attendance for the meeting with PGMO SG1 Lead Analyst Jordan Tattersall.
- Those who have been notified of their county cup final seminar invitation were congratulated by members. Great to see so many in the room will be involved in the evening.
- Safeguarding – BC mentioned Active Bystander training which is taking place across the county. It was also mentioned about report writing and the process that happens after a report is submitted.
- Match incidents – MS talked us through his experience at Hull v Watford with a hole in the net. Learning to do pre match checks before games. BC mentioned about players with illnesses and how we manage this from a discipline perspective.
- Jordan Tattersall – PGMO SG1 Lead Analyst:
Jordan spoke about his role where he has been with the PGMO for 6 years. He spoke about going from his initial evaluation role and how he worked his way up with various roles into the current role he has today. As an analyst he spoke about how he supports the match officials and coaches across SG1, SG2, National Group & Women’s Group. This is very varied but the main focus is around tactical integration which involves preparing officials pre-match ahead of their games. They will give information on set pieces, open plays, player behaviour that can help inform referees more on a tactical level on team behaviour. The result is to impact positively on the referees performance. A different aspect of officiating to give members an insight into what the PL referees also have to consider for games.
